Exactly what it says on the tin; ugly wheels thread. What's uglier than exposed fake fasteners around the edge? Only a DeTomaso that crashed into an animal shelter.

Always cringed when I saw these back in the days when they were semi-popular. Only Saab ever figured out how to do a great-looking three spoke wheel, IMHO.

Yea, someone did this to a 458.
That someone is Canadian.

When I first saw these on a Camaro I thought they were shipping-only wheels or something like that. Call them "heritage" all you want but they still look like generic stamped steel '70s cast-offs. I've owned sets of the originals which looked better and were good for the time . Wheels have come far further than this.

sure, they aren't odd, but its the pure ubiquity of them, Discount Tire must sell these to every poor sucker who "needs" wheels, I HATE these generically terrible wheels with a passion. Steelies are preferable

3-spoke wheels are kinda cool. I like the design on the 92-96 ES300. Technically six spokes, but they're in pairs and have a 3-spoke design feel to them:

I've always wanted to see a single-spoke wheel. I'm surprised Citroen didn't carry over their steering wheel design to the rims :p

no ugly wheel thread is complete without posting Ronal Bear.
Maybe not outright ugly... but Subaru makes some odd, and some BORING wheels.
A turbine... no... five groups of three spokes... they aren't equally spaced. odd... but just as hard to clean, and still just another also-ran thin-many-spoke wheel.
the 2012+ Outback got some odd ones, too.
And Sorry, lexus... but SC430 wheels with fake bolts on the hub cover... is a style faux-pas.

Kia is on a design roll with it's cars...
But the early 1990s called, and they want their black painted under machine-cut aluminum wheel designs back... and they don't fit very well in the present day.

I like the stance, but the weak boso exhaust and drift charm need to go.
Do you know what wheels those are?

Stock BRZ wheels are not great.
Wheels with wide gaps. I don't like seeing what is behind the wheels. It looks bad.

It is part of Weds show wheel line up I guess. I am not a big fan of the whole car, but the exhaust is just pushing it. . . the wrong way.

The exhaust may look good if it was a double pipe, but one exhaust looks weak. I hope that the car is bagged too.

I'd sport a set of this particular wheel for a while if they were cheap enough and the right size for my car. These are so over-the-top that I can't see them as anything but a parody of current wheel designs that would elicit a hearty chuckle every time I saw them. The similar wheels seen above look like they were actually trying to do something that would sell, while these just look completely idiotic-insane. Who signed off on designing this?!
"What were they thinking? I can't believe they bothered to make these and that they can be balanced."
Funny aside: I just realized these were spinners. I didn't know anyone still made, bought, or ran spinners after about 2003.

I Guess that I'm alone here... considering their market and purpose I think these things are great. Kinda like how some movies are terrible and thats also what makes them great.
